Visit Your Cask This Winter
Meet your whisky where it sleeps – and get kitted out for Scotland by popsicle.asia.
Your cask is maturing quietly in a bonded warehouse in Scotland. This winter, come and see it. Whisky Cask Club and popsicle.asia are teaming up on a small-group trip to Speyside, the heart of Scotch whisky country – visit casks in bond, tour distilleries and taste by the fire, with winter kit from popsicle.asia to keep you warm.
What's included
Everything you need for a winter in Speyside.
- 01
Cask visit in bond
With the WCC team. Bonded warehouses are working industrial sites; access depends on the warehouse's own rules and availability, and under-18s do not enter bonded warehouses.
- 02
Distillery tours and tastings
Across Speyside. Tastings are for over-18s only.
- 03
Winter kit from popsicle.asia
A personal fitting at popsicle.asia's Tannery Lane studio in Singapore. Rent jackets, boots and layers for adults, children and toddlers – no buying gear you'll wear once.
- 04
Families welcome
Children can join the trip and some distillery tours; they won't enter bonded warehouses or take part in tastings.
- 05
Small groups only
So every guest has proper time with their whisky.

Sample itinerary – subject to change and opening times
Three days, two nights in Speyside.
Your chauffeur meets you at Inverness Airport (INV) in a luxury SUV or people carrier. It's about an hour and five minutes' drive (roughly 67 km) to Craigellachie, depending on the weather.
Four distilleries, a working cooperage and an example hotel that calls itself Scotland's oldest whisky hotel, all within about 10 miles of each other.
Day by day
A sample Speyside itinerary.
Based in Craigellachie. Tastings are for over-18s only. Children are welcome on tours where the distillery allows, and under-18s never enter bonded warehouses. Opening days vary in winter, so we'll plan around them.

Example hotel
The Craigellachie Hotel
A boutique hotel on the River Spey, with 26 en-suite rooms. The Spey Inn pub dates back to 1703, and the Quaich Bar holds more than 700 single malts. It's a short walk from Telford's Craigellachie Bridge. craigellachiehotel.com ↗
- Day 1
Arrive and settle in
Chauffeur pick-up at Inverness Airport, then the drive to Speyside and check-in at your hotel (for example, the Craigellachie Hotel). If there's light left, take a short walk to Thomas Telford's 1814 Craigellachie Bridge and along the Speyside Way by the river. Dinner, for example at the Spey Inn, then a dram in the Quaich Bar (18+).
- Day 2
Casks, coopers and two distilleries

Morning: Speyside Cooperage, Craigellachie. Watch coopers build and repair casks by hand (Monday to Friday, booking essential; ages 8 and over).
Cask visit: where your cask's warehouse allows visits, time in bond with the WCC team, arranged with the warehousekeeper and subject to its rules and availability. Under-18s don't enter bonded warehouses.
Distillery 1: The GlenAllachie, Aberlour. The GlenAllachie Experience tour and tasting (Monday to Saturday in winter; over-18s only; booking in advance advised).
Distillery 2: Glenfiddich, Dufftown. A tour and tasting at the family-owned distillery (tours are for over-18s only, and Glenfiddich can't look after children during a tour, so families will plan this stop separately). - Day 3
Two final distilleries, then home
Distillery 3: Cardhu, Knockando. Long a key component of Johnnie Walker blends. Tours are for ages 8 and over; some routes go into a warehouse, so we'll confirm a family-suitable tour with Cardhu. Open Thursday to Monday only in January and February; booking ahead is required.
Distillery 4: Speyburn, Rothes. A Victorian distillery (founded 1897) in a wooded glen. Tours run Monday to Saturday and are open to ages 12 and over, but the tour goes into the dunnage warehouse, so under-18s in our group will skip it. It's on the way back north.
Then the chauffeur takes you back to Inverness Airport, about an hour away.

FAQs
Questions before you go.
- Q
Can I visit my cask in Scotland?
Yes, where the warehouse allows. Whisky Cask Club cask owners can register for a planned small-group winter trip to Speyside, Scotland, and visit their cask in bond where the warehousekeeper's access rules allow; casks are stored across Scotland, so not every cask is in Speyside. popsicle.asia can help you dress for the cold before you go. Under-18s don't enter bonded warehouses, and tastings are for over-18s. Dates are arranged per group and subject to confirmation.
- Q
Do I need to own a cask to join?
Cask owners get first priority; we'll share details with everyone who registers.
- Q
Can I bring my children?
Yes. Children are welcome on the trip and on some distillery tours. Bonded warehouses are industrial sites with their own rules on minors, so under-18s won't enter them, and all tastings are strictly 18+. popsicle.asia has winter kit for children and toddlers too.
- Q
How cold is Speyside in winter?
Cold, with short days – which is why popsicle.asia helps you dress for it before you go.
Cask and distillery visits are subject to warehouse and distillery access and rules. Alcohol is served only to guests aged 18 and over. Whisky casks are a physical product; this page is not an investment offer and no returns are promised.
