01 · Certificate first
The initial entitlement record
The client buys an identified physical asset. After purchase, WCC issues a Certificate of Entitlement first, recording the available cask details for the client file.

02 · Warehouse process
Custody evidence follows where applicable
The cask remains in bonded storage. Warehouse-account evidence can show an operational storage relationship and access to inventory records, but it does not by itself prove that a specific client owns a specific cask.

03 · Transfer evidence
A Delivery Order may come later
A cask may need to move before the bonded warehouse can issue or acknowledge a Delivery Order. Timing and document sequence therefore depend on the specific warehouse route.

04 · Living record
Keep evidence current
The file should continue after purchase. Storage, insurance, correspondence, samples, regauge information and later transfer or bottling decisions belong in a dated owner record.

This shows an operational warehouse and account relationship. It does not identify a buyer or establish ownership of a particular cask.
Transfer process
Redacted Delivery Order
This WCC-issued instruction shows the transfer-document format. It is not presented as Castlelaw acknowledgement of transfer, and all identifying and commercial fields are withheld.
The original documents were inspected locally. Public derivatives contain no client identity, cask number, commercial term or reusable signature.
