Two second-fill sherry Highland casks, matched 250L hogsheads, now open for allocation to the circle. Both carry a restrained, dry sherry profile from refill wood rather than a heavy first-fill oloroso, a style that keeps the distillery character in front of the cask.
1) Royal Brackla 2020 (6yr)
250L second-fill sherry hogshead
Raisins, red apple, toasted almonds, malted biscuit and subtle spice. Balanced, bright and moreish.
2) Glenturret 2024 (2yr)
250L second-fill sherry hogshead
Dried cherries, soft oak, sweet spice and polished malt. Promising depth for the future.
